Who are we?

Founded in January 1991, Premier Plastics (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned and managed company specialising in the manufacture of flexible plastic packaging for the retail industry. Key stakeholders and the core management team are pioneers of the flexible packaging industry in South Africa with combined experience of over a century in blown film extrusion, bagmaking, printing and recycling.

All our staff are totally committed to delivering the highest quality products and maintaining the outstanding reputation we have earned over the last 25 Years. Our commitment goes beyond product quality by offering our valued customers a range of efficient solutions ranging from recycling to supply chain and logistics management.

Advanced technology.

Premier Plastics has recently completed 2 major expansions and rationalisation programmes that have allowed us to reach world's best standards of efficiency and productivity.

Environmentally friendly.

Our manufacturing facility in Pretoria houses state-of-the-art extrusion, printing, bag making and recycling equipment with a capacity of over 9 000 MT p.a.

Multiple colours.

We produce: HDPE, LDPE and Recycled carriers, both plain and printed up to 6 colours.

Stock availability, fast lead times, simpler order processing, flexible supply chains and tight logistics management are all part of our service. We offer national distribution and the shortest turn around time in the industry.

Environmental and Quality Credentials:

  • All our plastic bags are degradable.
  • We only use lead-free, organic, water-based inks.
  • 100% of factory waste is recycled.
  • All our bags are SABS certified and approved to meet government regulations and specifications.
  • Simplify our clients' task by handling the temporary staff management process from ordering to invoicing and giving feedback at the same time
  • Our bags also comply with all major global processing testing and quality standards.
